 In English this week we have been learning about alliteration. Alliteration is when two or more words begin with the same sound for example terrifying talons. We thought of adjectives to describe different parts of a monster’s body and then created alliterative phrases using them.

Our first Art lesson explored the Natural world and we watched a short film created by David Attenborough. The children chose to draw anything that inspired them in the video. Many chose to draw volcanoes, trees, leaves and animals.

 This week in English we have been writing our own versions of the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Today we learnt all about editing and how we need to check our work for errors to improve it. We had a go at editing a piece of Mrs Squibb’s work before trying to check our own work.
