 Year 2 enjoyed a wonderful trip to Osborne house as part of our history work all about Queen Victoria and also to link with our DT topic of bathing machines. We enjoyed a walk around the house looking at the Christmas decorations as well as learning lots about Queen Victoria. We also learnt all about her children in a special workshop about them. Finally we ventured down to the beach to look at Queen Victoria’s bathing machine in order to inspire us in creating our own bathing machines. 

 We started looking at our history topic for this term which is learning about Queen Victoria and why she is such an important person for the Isle of Wight. We learnt a little bit about her life today and acted out different events in her life.
