World book day - willow

 We had a fabulous world book day in willow class! Everyone looked fantastic in whatever they chose to come dressed in. We thought about our ultimate character from a book and made a top trumps card for them. We then battled it out to see who would be the ultimate character in willow class.

Our first Art lesson explored the Natural world and we watched a short film created by David Attenborough. The children chose to draw anything that inspired them in the video. Many chose to draw volcanoes, trees, leaves and animals.

 This week in English we have been writing our own versions of the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Today we learnt all about editing and how we need to check our work for errors to improve it. We had a go at editing a piece of Mrs Squibb’s work before trying to check our own work.
