Maths

 In maths this week we have started looking at the topic of multiplication and division. We began by thinking about the idea of equal and unequal groups. We have also practiced making equal groups using the multilink cubes. For example we can make 3 equal groups of 5.

Our first Art lesson explored the Natural world and we watched a short film created by David Attenborough. The children chose to draw anything that inspired them in the video. Many chose to draw volcanoes, trees, leaves and animals.

English editing our work

 This week in English we have been writing our own versions of the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Today we learnt all about editing and how we need to check our work for errors to improve it. We had a go at editing a piece of Mrs Squibb’s work before trying to check our own work.
