History
We learnt a bit more about Mary Anning’s life this week. We learnt more facts and sequenced them in the correct order before deciding if they were happy or sad events for Mary and completing an emotions graph.
History
Year 2 enjoyed a wonderful trip to Osborne house as part of our history work all about Queen Victoria and also to link with our DT topic of bathing machines. We enjoyed a walk around the house looking at the Christmas decorations as well as learning lots about Queen Victoria. We also learnt all about her children in a special workshop about them. Finally we ventured down to the beach to look at Queen Victoria’s bathing machine in order to inspire us in creating our own bathing machines.
