Computing: beebots

 In computing this week we carried on learning about algorithms using the beebots. We know that an algorithm is a set of instructions. We began by making some predictions about where the beebots might end up on the map, we then moved the paperbot to try it out before using the beebots to find out if our predictions were correct. Finally, we made our own beebot mats which we will have a go at using next week.

Our first Art lesson explored the Natural world and we watched a short film created by David Attenborough. The children chose to draw anything that inspired them in the video. Many chose to draw volcanoes, trees, leaves and animals.

 This week in English we have been writing our own versions of the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Today we learnt all about editing and how we need to check our work for errors to improve it. We had a go at editing a piece of Mrs Squibb’s work before trying to check our own work.
