Geography

 In geography this week we continued looking at the continents of the world. We had a recap of the names of the continents and where they are,  before beginning to look at the different features of the continents. We sorted features of each continent into physical and human before writing about some of them and comparing the features.

Our first Art lesson explored the Natural world and we watched a short film created by David Attenborough. The children chose to draw anything that inspired them in the video. Many chose to draw volcanoes, trees, leaves and animals.

English editing our work

 This week in English we have been writing our own versions of the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Today we learnt all about editing and how we need to check our work for errors to improve it. We had a go at editing a piece of Mrs Squibb’s work before trying to check our own work.
