Understanding how wheels, axles and chassis’s work.

 In today’s DT lesson we continued our unit on vehicles. We learnt how wheels, axles and chassis’s work. We experimented with different techniques and decided which method worked best. We drew models and labelled the different parts.

Our first Art lesson explored the Natural world and we watched a short film created by David Attenborough. The children chose to draw anything that inspired them in the video. Many chose to draw volcanoes, trees, leaves and animals.

 This week in English we have been writing our own versions of the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Today we learnt all about editing and how we need to check our work for errors to improve it. We had a go at editing a piece of Mrs Squibb’s work before trying to check our own work.
