Computing - IT in School

In Computing today, we have been thinking about how IT is used in school. We know that IT is something that is a computer, or something that works with a computer, so we considered all of the examples of this we might see in school. 

We then used the laptops to login and access a Google Slides page, where we were able to drag and resize images into different categories to demonstrate our understanding and develop our skills.

Our first Art lesson explored the Natural world and we watched a short film created by David Attenborough. The children chose to draw anything that inspired them in the video. Many chose to draw volcanoes, trees, leaves and animals.

English editing our work

 This week in English we have been writing our own versions of the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Today we learnt all about editing and how we need to check our work for errors to improve it. We had a go at editing a piece of Mrs Squibb’s work before trying to check our own work.
