Geography learning about England

 In our lesson this week we were looking at the country of England. We are going to be answering the question of whether all the countries of the UK are the same. We learnt some facts about England and looked at some of the famous landmarks in England before making our own posters all about England.

Our first Art lesson explored the Natural world and we watched a short film created by David Attenborough. The children chose to draw anything that inspired them in the video. Many chose to draw volcanoes, trees, leaves and animals.

 This week in English we have been writing our own versions of the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Today we learnt all about editing and how we need to check our work for errors to improve it. We had a go at editing a piece of Mrs Squibb’s work before trying to check our own work.
