 In history this week we thought about why the Great Fire of London spread so quickly. We worked in groups to look at two pictures and come up with as many reasons as we could as to why the fire spread quickly. There were some great answers including that the doors and windows were open so that the fire got more oxygen which made it bigger! 

 In English today we started our new topic looking at a book all about the Great Fire of London. We started today by thinking about modern London and the words we would use to describe London. We the made posters all about London to try and persuade people to visit London. 

 In DT today we practised a running stitch in preparation for making our hand puppets. We practiced threading our needles which took a lot of perseverance.  

 In DT today we designed our hand puppets ready for sewing in the next few weeks!
