 In PSHE today we thought about how our behaviour affects other people. We thought about what things make us feel good ( praise, stickers, people saying nice things about us) and things that make us feel bad. We then worked in groups to act out a scenario which showed the idea of our behaviour affecting someone else really clearly. 

 In DT last week we designed bathing machines inspired Queen Vitoria and her life at Osborne House. We thought carefully when designing, some children decided to include the famous VA initials seen around Osborne House, some decided to included intricate details and flowers and many added statues and artwork to their bathing machines. Our designs are brilliant and we can’t wait to get making them! 

 In history this week we learnt about the Victorian seaside. We found out that Queen Victoria made visits to the seaside popular and she helped to make the Isle of Wight a popular holiday destination. We created our own films showing the kinds of activities that people would have done at the seaside in Victorian times including swimming, paddling, watching Punch and Judy shows and donkey riding. 

 In PSHE today we were thinking about special people. We were thinking about which people are special to us and how they help us. We made posters showing our special people and why they are special. 

 In Maths today we used counters and tens frames to help us subtract across a 10.
